Nirman
Inventory and billing for hardware shops — priced by shop, because that is how they grow.
A hardware shop sells cement by the sack, rod by the kilo and paint by the litre, often on credit to builders who settle at the end of a job. Generic retail software handles none of that well.
The pricing decision
Nirman charges by number of shops, not number of users. A hardware business grows by opening another branch, not by adding cashiers — so the price should track branches. It also means a shop owner can put every staff member on the system without the bill going up, which is the difference between the software being used and being ignored.
What it does
Stock across multiple shops with transfers between them; purchase and supplier records; billing with the units these businesses actually trade in; credit accounts and outstanding balances per customer; and consolidated books so an owner can see all branches at once or one at a time.
